1 2 #1. Page 5, by inserting after line 13 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "4. A transaction that is subject to a computer
1 5 information contract which provides that the contract
1 6 is to be interpreted pursuant to the laws of a state
1 7 that has enacted the uniform computer information
1 8 transactions Act, as proposed by the national
1 9 conference of commissioners on uniform state laws, or
1 10 any substantially similar law, is null and void and
1 11 the contract shall be interpreted pursuant to the laws
1 12 of this state if at least one party to the contract is
1 13 a resident or has its principal place of business
1 14 located in this state. For purposes of this
1 15 subsection, a "computer information contract" means a
1 16 contract that would be governed by the uniform
1 17 computer information transactions Act or substantially
1 18 similar law as enacted in the state of residence of
1 19 the other person to the contract if that state's law
1 20 were applied to the contract."
