1 4 "Sec. . NEW SECTION. 147B.8 RELATIONSHIPS
1 5 WITH PROVIDERS.
1 6 Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to
1 7 require a person licensed under chapter 148, 150,
1 8 150A, or 152 to consult with, provide professional
1 9 services under protocol, or enter into any other
1 10 relationship with a certified professional midwife or
1 11 certified midwife registered pursuant to this chapter.
1 12 Additionally, this chapter shall not be construed to
1 13 require the consideration or grant of clinical
1 14 privileges to, or the establishment of any other
1 15 relationship with, a certified professional midwife or
1 16 certified midwife registered pursuant to this chapter
1 17 by a hospital, clinic, outpatient health facility,
1 18 birth center, or other health facility.
1 19 Sec. . NEW SECTION. 147B.9 PROHIBITION –
