  1  1    Amend House File 2008 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, line 22, by inserting after the word
  1  3 "animal." the following:  "If a military person while
  1  4 hunting or fishing is cited for failure to prove
  1  5 residency as required, the arresting state
  1  6 conservation officer or other designee of the
  1  7 department shall contact the department of revenue and
  1  8 finance within one working day to determine if the
  1  9 military person has filed a state income tax return or
  1 10 has income withheld for income tax purposes.  If the
  1 11 military person's claim of residency is established,
  1 12 the citation shall be rescinded."
