1 8 "NEW SUBSECTION. 3A. In addition to the other
1 9 disclosure requirements of this chapter, a committee
1 10 organized and operated by an insurance company,
1 11 savings and loan association, bank, credit union, or
1 12 corporation pursuant to subsection 3 shall disclose
1 13 any political purposes or legislative objectives, as
1 14 defined in subsection 56.15B, to be supported by
1 15 moneys solicited or contributed. A committee shall
1 16 also comply, to the extent applicable, with the
1 17 authorization provisions of section 56.15B when
1 18 soliciting, requesting, or otherwise receiving moneys
1 19 pursuant to subsection 3. Whether or not section
1 20 56.15B is applicable, the committee shall obtain a
1 21 separate signed acknowledgment from the contributor
1 22 that the committee has disclosed its political
1 23 purposes and legislative objectives prior to accepting
1 24 the contribution."

3 19 A company subject to this chapter that organizes
3 20 and operates a political committee pursuant to chapter
3 21 56 shall comply with the disclosure provisions,
3 22 including disclosures to stockholders, officers, and
3 23 members, required by section 56.15.
3 24 Sec. ___. Section 524.2001, Code 1999, is amended
3 25 by adding the following new unnumbered paragraph:
3 26 NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH. A bank that organizes
3 27 and operates a political committee pursuant to chapter
3 28 56 shall comply with the disclosure provisions,
3 29 including disclosures to stockholders, officers, and
3 30 members, required by section 56.15.
3 31 Sec. ___. NEW SECTION. 533.68 NOTICES TO
3 32 STOCKHOLDERS AND OTHERS.
3 33 A credit union subject to this chapter that
3 34 organizes and operates a political committee pursuant
3 35 to chapter 56 shall comply with the disclosure
3 36 provisions, including disclosures to stockholders,
3 37 officers, and members, required by section 56.15.
3 38 Sec. ___. NEW SECTION. 534.520 NOTICES TO
3 39 STOCKHOLDERS AND OTHERS.
3 40 A savings and loan association subject to this
3 41 chapter that organizes and operates a political
3 42 committee pursuant to chapter 56 shall comply with the
3 43 disclosure provisions, including disclosures to
3 44 stockholders, officers, and members, required by
3 45 section 56.15."
