1 3 #1. By striking page 1, line 1, through page 3,
1 4 line 1.
1 5 #2. Page 3, by striking lines 23 through 33 and
1 6 inserting the following: "operation of a school
1 7 breakfast program at a specific attendance center
1 8 within the school district shall develop an
1 9 alternative site plan to operate the school breakfast
1 10 program at another attendance center within the school
1 11 district and shall annually certify to the department
1 12 that the plan meets the following criteria:
1 13 (1) Provides safe travel routes to and from the
1 14 alternative breakfast site for all eligible students.
1 15 (2) Minimizes student travel time between the
1 16 student's attendance center and the alternative
1 17 breakfast site.
1 18 (3) Provides for a reasonable relationship between
1 19 the time breakfast is offered, the time the student is
1 20 required to arrive at the attendance center and
1 21 alternative site, and the daily school start time.
1 22 (4) Provides an alternative breakfast site
1 23 facility adequate for the number of students
1 24 participating in the breakfast program."
1 25 #3. Page 4, by striking lines 1 through 9 and
1 26 inserting the following: "with paragraph "b", shall
1 27 notify the parent, guardian, or legal or actual
1 28 custodian of a child enrolled in the school district
1 29 of the school district's intention to develop and
1 30 implement a plan to provide school breakfast programs
1 31 only in certain attendance centers. At any time in
1 32 which the school district proposes to make substantive
1 33 changes to a plan certified with the department of
1 34 education, the notification requirements of this
1 35 paragraph shall apply."

1 38 school district meets the requirements of paragraphs
1 39 "b" and "c", shall provide access to a".

2 11 that wishes to provide access to a school breakfast
2 12 program in accordance with paragraph "b", shall notify
2 13 the parent, guardian, or legal or actual custodian of
2 14 a child enrolled in the district of the school
2 15 district's intention to develop and implement a plan
2 16 to provide school breakfast programs only in certain
2 17 attendance centers. At any time in which the school
2 18 district proposes to make substantive changes to a
2 19 plan certified with the department of education, the
2 20 notification requirements of this paragraph shall
2 21 apply."

2 24 #7. Title page, by striking lines 1 through 4 and
2 25 inserting the following: "An Act relating to school
2 26 breakfast programming."
