1 3 #1. Page 6, by inserting after line 10 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "It is the intent of the general assembly that the
1 6 department of general services shall determine and
1 7 recommend to the governor and the general assembly a
1 8 reimbursement amount to the city of Des Moines for
1 9 police and fire protection provided by the city for
1 10 state-owned buildings and facilities located in the
1 11 city. The recommendation shall be a cost benefit
1 12 analysis based on current state practices in other
1 13 Iowa cities with state-owned facilities and shall be
1 14 applicable for inclusion in the budget for the fiscal
1 15 year 2001."
