1 3 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 23 the

1 5 "Sec. . There is appropriated from the general
1 6 fund of the state to the department of public safety
1 7 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1999, and ending
1 8 June 30, 2000, the following amount, or so much
1 9 thereof as is necessary, for the purpose designated:
1 10 For reimbursement of the costs of cellular
1 11 telephone usage by the Iowa state patrol:
1 12 .................................................. $ 100,000
1 13 The department of public safety shall adopt rules
1 14 relating to the rate of reimbursement of the costs of
1 15 cellular telephone usage by the Iowa state patrol."
