1 5 "Sec. . DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES. There
1 6 is appropriated from the general fund of the state to
1 7 the department of general services for the fiscal year
1 8 beginning July 1, 1998, and ending June 30, 1999, to
1 9 supplement the appropriations made in 1998 Iowa Acts,
1 10 chapter 1217, section 5, subsection 4, the following
1 11 amount, or so much thereof as is necessary, to be used
1 12 for the purpose designated:
1 13 RENTAL SPACE
1 14 For payment of lease or rental costs of buildings
1 15 and office space at the seat of government as provided
1 16 in section 18.12, subsection 9, notwithstanding
1 17 section 18.16:
1 18 .................................................. $ 67,500
1 19 Sec. . GOVERNOR AND LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR. There
1 20 is appropriated from the general fund of the state to
1 21 the offices of the governor and lieutenant governor
1 22 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1998, and ending
1 23 June 30, 1999, to supplement the appropriations made
1 24 in 1998 Iowa acts, chapter 1217, section 7, subsection
1 25 1, the following amount, or so much thereof as is
1 26 necessary, to be used for the purposes designated:
1 27 GENERAL OFFICE
1 28 For salaries, support, maintenance, and
1 29 miscellaneous purposes, including vacation and leave
1 30 payout for departing staff, for the general office of
1 31 the governor and the general office of the lieutenant
1 32 governor:
