1 4 "Sec. . PUBLICATION OF FARM PROGRAMS.
1 5 1. As used in this section, "farm programs"
1 6 includes, but is not limited to, financial incentive
1 7 programs established within the division of soil
1 8 conservation of the department of agriculture and land
1 9 stewardship as provided in section 161A.70 and the
1 10 beginning farmer loan program administered by the
1 11 agricultural development authority as provided in
1 12 section 175.12.
1 13 2. The department shall publicize the availability
1 14 of farm programs to women and minority persons. The
1 15 department shall disseminate the information
1 16 electronically or by publishing printed brochures for
1 17 distribution to locations and institutions serving
1 18 farmers, including departmental offices, financial
1 19 institutions participating in farm programs, and soil
1 20 and water conservation district offices.
1 21 3. The department shall cooperate with private
1 22 institutions and public agencies in order to carry out
1 23 this section, including the department of economic
1 24 development and the United States department of
1 25 agriculture."
