  1  1    Amend House File 746 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 7, line 32, by inserting after the word
  1  3 "department." the following:  "In carrying out its on-
  1  4 site inspections, persons occupying the full-time
  1  5 equivalent positions authorized in this paragraph
  1  6 shall ensure that unformed manure storage structures
  1  7 which are part of confinement feeding operations do
  1  8 not emit airborne pollutants in excess of standards as
  1  9 shall be established by rules adopted by the
  1 10 department regulating levels of gases containing
  1 11 compounds which produce odor or may have a deleterious
  1 12 effect upon human health, including but not limited to
  1 13 hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, methane, and any class of
  1 14 mercaptan."
