  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-1264, to House File 745 as

  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by striking line 4 and inserting the
  1  4 following:

  1  6    #   .  Page 2, by inserting after line 34 the following:
  1  7    "The department shall allocate $125,000 from the moneys
  1  8 appropriated under this paragraph "e" for a child care facility
  1  9 assistance program.  The program shall provide loans and grants
  1 10 for the construction, expansion, or renovation of child care
  1 11 centers licensed pursuant to section 237A.2.  The department, in
  1 12 consultation with the department of human services and the
  1 13 department of workforce development, shall adopt rules pursuant
  1 14 to chapter 17A to administer this program.""
