1 2 1997, is amended by striking the paragraph.
1 3 EXPLANATION
1 4 This bill strikes the provision which would have repealed
1 5 the employment security administrative contribution surcharge
1 6 and its fund effective July 1, 1998. The administrative
1 7 contribution surcharge is imposed on nongovernmental employers
1 8 subject to the unemployment compensation chapter and moneys
1 9 collected are used by the department of workforce development
1 10 for costs associated with certain rural and satellite
1 11 departmental offices or for the department-approved training
1 12 fund.
