1 1 Section 1. All proceeding taken by the board of directors
1 2 of the Sigourney Community School District regarding the sale
1 3 of the North elementary school property and the middle school
1 4 property are hereby legalized and constitute a valid and
1 5 binding sale of this property.
1 6 Sec. 2. This Act, being deemed of immediate importance,
1 7 takes effect upon enactment and is retroactively applicable to
1 8 March 9, 1992.
1 9 EXPLANATION
1 10 This bill legalizes the sale of two pieces of property of
1 11 the Sigourney Community School District. The board of
1 12 directors of the school district, in proceeding with the sale
1 13 of the property inadvertently failed to have the buildings on
1 14 the property appraised as required by Code section 297.22.
1 15 The bill takes effect upon enactment and is retroactively
1 16 applicable to March 9, 1992.
