1 3 #1. Page 1, by inserting before line 1 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "Sec. ___. NEW SECTION. 364.25 RETIREE HEALTH
1 6 CARE.
1 7 A city may provide health or medical insurance
1 8 coverage or supplemental coverage to retired employees
1 9 of the city. A city providing health or medical
1 10 insurance coverage pursuant to this section may
1 11 establish such requirements or restrictions concerning
1 12 the coverage provided as the city may adopt. If
1 13 coverage is provided, the cost of the health or
1 14 medical insurance coverage shall be paid from moneys
1 15 held in a trust and agency fund established pursuant
1 16 to section 384.6, or out of an appropriation from the
1 17 city general fund for this purpose."
1 18 #2. Page 1, line 21, by striking the word
1 19 "section" and inserting the following: "sections
1 20 364.25 and".
1 21 #3. Title page, line 1, by inserting after the
1 22 word "pay" the following: "health and medical
1 23 insurance coverage to retired employees and".
1 24 #4. By renumbering as necessary.
