  1  1    Amend House File 2513, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 8, by inserting after line 29 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec. ___.  Section 425.40, Code Supplement 1997,
  1  6 is amended by striking the section and inserting in
  1  7 lieu thereof the following:
  1  8    425.40  LOW-INCOME FUND CREATED – APPROPRIATION.
  1  9    The low-income tax credit and reimbursement fund is
  1 10 created.  There is appropriated annually from the
  1 11 general fund of the state to the department of revenue
  1 12 and finance to be credited to the low-income tax
  1 13 credit and reimbursement fund, from funds not
  1 14 otherwise appropriated, an amount sufficient to
  1 15 implement this division for claimants described in
  1 16 section 425.17, subsection 2, paragraph "b"."
