1 2 #1. Page 4, by striking lines 15 and 16 and
1 3 inserting the following: "to electric service and
1 4 natural gas service. For purposes of this subsection,
1 5 "natural gas service" means such service provided by
1 6 natural gas pipelines permitted pursuant to chapter
1 7 479."
1 8 #2. Page 15, line 24, by inserting after the word
1 9 "consumption" the following: ", except for
1 10 inadvertent unscheduled deliveries to the electric
1 11 utility furnishing electric service to that self-
1 12 generator".
1 13 #3. By striking page 15, line 35, through page 16,
1 14 line 1, and inserting the following: "parcel of land
1 15 shown on the tax list."
1 16 #4. Page 44, line 9, by striking the figure
1 17 "437A.20" and inserting the following: "437A.19".
1 18 #5. Page 45, by striking lines 20 and 21 and
1 19 inserting the following: "taxing districts and
1 20 reported to the county auditor. Special".
1 21 #6. Page 46, line 31, by inserting after the word
1 22 "study" the following: "and the specific
1 23 recommendations of the task force for modifications to
1 24 the replacement tax, if any, which will further the
1 25 purposes of tax neutrality for local taxing districts,
1 26 taxpayers, and consumers, consistent with the stated
1 27 purposes of this chapter. The department of
1 28 management shall also report to the legislative
1 29 council by November 15 of each year through 2001, the
1 30 status of the task force study and any
1 31 recommendations".
1 32 #7. Page 59, line 22, by striking the word and
1 33 figures "January 1, 2000" and inserting the following:
1 34 "July 1, 1999".
1 35 #8. Page 59, line 35, by striking the figure "1,"
1 36 and inserting the following: "1 of each year
1 37 through".
