1 2 #1. Page 6, line 17, by striking the figure "1999"
1 3 and inserting the following: "2000".
1 4 #2. Page 6, line 25, by inserting after the figure
1 5 "1999." the following: "The report shall include a
1 6 summary of the implementation plan for mandatory
1 7 statewide usage of the electronic benefit transfer
1 8 program, including timelines, projected costs and
1 9 projected savings. If legislation is enacted by the
1 10 Seventy-seventh General Assembly, 1998 Session,
1 11 establishing fee payments to any retailers who
1 12 participate in the electronic benefit transfer
1 13 program, the report shall include a projection of the
1 14 costs of the fee payments and a projection of savings
1 15 to the department in each of the state fiscal years
1 16 beginning July 1, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002, and an
1 17 updated comparison of fees being paid in other
1 18 states."
