  1  1    Amend Senate File 2381 as follows:
  1  2    #1. Page 8, by inserting after line 9 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "A diagnostic feasibility study approved by the
  1  5 department must be performed on a lake preceding the
  1  6 department dredging of such lake.  Three-fourths of
  1  7 the land in the watershed surrounding the lake must be
  1  8 placed in a soil conservation program, approved by the
  1  9 local soil conservation commission.  The soil loss in
  1 10 the watershed surrounding the lake shall not exceed
  1 11 five tons of soil loss per acre in a given year for a
  1 12 lake to become eligible for dredging."
