1 1 Amend Senate File 2398, as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 2, by striking lines 23 through 25, and
1 3 inserting the following: "that the person receive a
1 4 special sentence committing the person into the
1 5 custody of the director of the Iowa department of
1 6 corrections for the rest of the person's life, with
1 7 eligibility for parole as provided in chapter 906.
1 8 The special sentence imposed under this subsection
1 9 shall commence upon".
1 10 #2. By striking page 2, line 32, through page 3,
1 11 line 1, and inserting the following: "rehabilitation
1 12 of the person. Notwithstanding section 906.15, a
1 13 person receiving an additional special sentence
1 14 pursuant to this subsection shall not be discharged
1 15 from parole."
