1 2 #1. Page 16, by inserting after line 25 the

1 4 "Sec. ___. NEW SECTION. 272.9B PERMANENT
1 5 PROFESSIONAL TEACHER LICENSURE.
1 6 The board of educational examiners shall adopt
1 7 rules relating to the awarding of a permanent
1 8 professional license for teachers who have met all of
1 9 the following requirements:
1 10 1. Hold a master's degree or a professional degree
1 11 beyond the baccalaureate degree, from an accredited
1 12 college or university with an approved practitioner
1 13 preparation program, in the subject to be taught.
1 14 2. Have five years of successful teaching
1 15 experience in the area to be taught, certified in
1 16 writing to the board by the superintendent of the
1 17 school district, or by the authorities in charge of an
1 18 accredited nonpublic school, in which the teacher is
1 19 employed."
1 20 #2. By renumbering, relettering, or redesignating
1 21 as necessary.
