  1  1    Amend Senate File 2257 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 10, by striking lines 14 through 19 and
  1  3 inserting the following:  "of forty feet.
  1  4    When determining the overall length of a single
  1  5 truck the following shall be excluded:
  1  6    (1)  Cargo extending not more than three feet
  1  7 beyond the front bumper and not more than four feet
  1  8 beyond the rear bumper when transporting motor
  1  9 vehicles, boats, and chassis.
  1 10    (2)  An unladen cargo carrying device extending no
  1 11 greater than twenty-four inches from the rear of the
  1 12 bed of the truck.
  1 13    (3)  A cargo carrying device with load."
