  1  1    Amend the amendment, S-3728, to House File 697, as
  1  2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the House, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 1, by inserting before line 17 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "#   .  Page 9, by inserting after line 23 the
  1  7 following:
  1  8    "Sec.    .  RETROACTIVE APPLICABILITY.  The portion
  1  9 of this Act that amends Code section 56.42, subsection
  1 10 2, paragraph "b", is retroactively applicable to all
  1 11 candidate's committees, and is applicable six months
  1 12 after enactment.  The ethics and campaign disclosure
  1 13 board shall notify, prior to the effective date of
  1 14 that provision, all candidate's committees to which
  1 15 the provision would require the transfer of funds
  1 16 because the candidate has been out of public office
  1 17 for seven or more years.""
  1 18    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
