  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 26, line 15, by striking the figure
  1  4 "111,084,000" and inserting the following:
  1  5 "111,234,000".
  1  6    #2.  Page 50, by striking lines 11 through 17 and
  1  7 inserting the following:
  1  8    "___.  Notwithstanding section 234.38, in the
  1  9 fiscal year beginning July 1, 1997, the foster family
  1 10 basic daily maintenance rates and the maximum adoption
  1 11 subsidy rates shall be based on 75 percent of the
  1 12 United States department of agriculture estimate of
  1 13 the cost to raise a child.  The reimbursement rate
  1 14 authorized in this subsection shall be applied by
  1 15 adjusting the reimbursement rates authorized in law
  1 16 for the various age groupings for the fiscal year
  1 17 beginning July 1, 1996."
