  1  1    Amend House File 453 as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 28 and 29, and
  1  4 inserting the following:  "child."
  1  5    #2.  Page 2, line 19, by striking the figure "(1)".
  1  6    #3.  Page 2, line 26, by striking the word "(a)"
  1  7 and inserting the following:  "(1)".
  1  8    #4.  Page 2, line 29, by striking the word "(b)"
  1  9 and inserting the following:  "(2)".
  1 10    #5.  Page 2, by inserting after line 33, the
  1 11 following:
  1 12    "(3)  Openly living with the child for a period of
  1 13 six months within the one-year period immediately
  1 14 preceding the termination of parental rights hearing
  1 15 and during that period openly holding himself out to
  1 16 be the father of the child."
  1 17    #6.  Page 2, line 34, by striking the figure "(2)"
  1 18 and inserting the following:  "c."
  1 19    #7.  Page 3, by striking lines 1 through 4,  and
  1 20 inserting the following:  "specified in paragraph "a"
  1 21 or "b" manifesting such intent, does not preclude a
  1 22 determination that the putative father has abandoned
  1 23 the child.  In making a determination, the court
  1 24 shall".
  1 25    #8.  Page 3, line 7, by striking the word and
  1 26 figure "subparagraph (1)" and inserting the following:
  1 27 "paragraph "a" or "b"".
  1 28    #9.  Page 3, by striking lines 9 through 15, and
  1 29 inserting the following:  "mother during the
  1 30 pregnancy.  Demonstration of a commitment to the child
  1 31 is not met by the putative father marrying the mother
  1 32 of the child after adoption of the child."
  1 33    #10.  By renumbering as necessary.
