  1  1    Amend Senate File 533 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 19, by inserting after line 23 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Notwithstanding any contrary provision of section
  1  5 815.7, the fees authorized for attorneys appointed to
  1  6 represent indigent or partially indigent persons who
  1  7 are not under contract with the state public defender
  1  8 shall be calculated based upon an hourly rate that
  1  9 shall not exceed fifty-five dollars per hour, unless
  1 10 the offense charged is a class "A" or class "B"
  1 11 felony, in which case the hourly rate shall not exceed
  1 12 sixty dollars per hour."
