1 1 Amend Senate File 471 as follows:
1 2 #1. By striking everything after the enacting
1 3 clause and inserting the following:
1 4 "Sec. ___. Section 455G.11, Code 1997, is amended
1 5 by adding the following new subsection:
1 6 NEW SUBSECTION. 12. A person engaged in the
1 7 wholesale or retail sale of petroleum shall receive a
1 8 discount of eight percent on that person's annual
1 9 underground storage tank insurance premium for all
1 10 tanks located at a site which meets all of the
1 11 following conditions:
1 12 a. The person maintains a collection device for
1 13 the purpose of storing waste oil filters.
1 14 b. The person accepts waste oil filters from the
1 15 general public.
1 16 c. The person posts a notice at the site in a form
1 17 and manner approved by the administrator advertising
1 18 that the person will accept waste oil filters from the
1 19 general public.
1 20 d. The person registers an end user, other than a
1 21 sanitary landfill, of the waste oil filters."
1 22 #2. Title page, line 2, by inserting after the
1 23 word "filters" the following: "and providing an
1 24 insurance premium discount".
1 25 #3. By renumbering as necessary.
