1 3 #1. Page 8, by striking lines 20 through 31 and
1 4 inserting the following:
1 5 "Sec. ___. WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT FUND. For
1 6 allocation of $3,187,500 for the purposes identified
1 7 under section 15.343, subsection 2, paragraph "b", for
1 8 allocation of $637,500 for the purposes identified in
1 9 section 15.343, subsection 2, paragraph "c", $435,000
1 10 of which shall be allocated to high technology
1 11 apprenticeship programs and distributed to community
1 12 colleges based upon contact hours under programs
1 13 administered during the prior fiscal year as
1 14 determined by the department of education, and for
1 15 allocation of $1,706,028 for the purposes identified
1 16 under section 15.343, subsection 2, there is
1 17 appropriated from the workforce development fund
1 18 account created in section 15.342A, for the fiscal
1 19 year beginning July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998,
1 20 to the workforce development fund created in section
1 21 15.343, the following amount:
