  1  1    Amend House File 388, as passed by the House, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 3 through 28 and
  1  4 inserting the following:
  1  5    "a.  On all taxable income from zero through one
  1  6 thousand dollars, four-tenths three-tenths of one
  1  7 percent.
  1  8    b.  On all taxable income exceeding one thousand
  1  9 dollars but not exceeding two thousand dollars, eight-
  1 10 tenths six-tenths of one percent.
  1 11    c.  On all taxable income exceeding two thousand
  1 12 dollars but not exceeding four thousand dollars, two
  1 13 and seven-tenths three hundredths percent.
  1 14    d.  On all taxable income exceeding four thousand
  1 15 dollars but not exceeding nine thousand dollars, five
  1 16 three and seventy-five hundredths percent.
  1 17    e.  On all taxable income exceeding nine thousand
  1 18 dollars but not exceeding fifteen thousand dollars,
  1 19 six and eight-tenths five and one-tenth percent.
  1 20    f.  On all taxable income exceeding fifteen
  1 21 thousand dollars but not exceeding twenty thousand
  1 22 dollars, seven and two-tenths five and four-tenths
  1 23 percent.
  1 24    g.  On all taxable income exceeding twenty thousand
  1 25 dollars but not exceeding thirty thousand dollars,
  1 26 seven and fifty-five five and sixty-six hundredths
  1 27 percent.
  1 28    h.  On all taxable income exceeding thirty thousand
  1 29 dollars but not exceeding forty-five thousand dollars,
  1 30 eight and eight-tenths six and six-tenths percent.
  1 31    i.  On all taxable income exceeding forty-five
  1 32 thousand dollars, nine and ninety-eight hundredths
  1 33 percent."
