  1  1    Amend Senate File 246 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 5, by striking lines 15 through 18 and
  1  3 inserting the following:  "registration.  A person who
  1  4 purchases an all-terrain vehicle or snowmobile from a
  1  5 dealer shall, within five days of the purchase, apply
  1  6 for an all-terrain vehicle or snowmobile registration
  1  7 or transfer of registration.  A snowmobile or all-
  1  8 terrain vehicle dealer".
  1  9    #2.  Page 5, line 20, by inserting after the word
  1 10 "snowmobile" the following:  "or all-terrain vehicle".
  1 11    #3.  Page 5, line 32, by striking the words "or
  1 12 snowmobile" and inserting the following:  "or
  1 13 snowmobile".
  1 14    #4.  Page 5, line 34, by striking the words "ten
  1 15 dollars" and inserting the following:  "ten dollars
  1 16 twelve dollars and fifty cents".
  1 17    #5.  By striking page 5, line 35, through page 6,
  1 18 line 3, and inserting the following:  "the
  1 19 registration period."
