  1  1    Section 1.  Section 808B.9, Code 1997, is repealed.  
  1  2                           EXPLANATION
  1  3    This bill strikes the provision which provides for the
  1  4 repeal of Code chapter 808B relating to the interception of
  1  5 wire and aural communications.  If the stricken provision were
  1  6 to take effect, the chapter would be repealed effective July
  1  7 1, 1999.
