  1  1                   HOUSE RESOLUTION 1
  1  2                        By Rants
  1  3    BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, That
  1  4 each member of the House of Representatives shall be entitled
  1  5 to select and appoint a secretary, and such secretary may
  1  6 be called upon to aid in the discharge of the clerical work
  1  7 of the House of Representatives.  Only expert typists and
  1  8 stenographers will be considered qualified.  The Speaker
  1  9 and Chief Clerk shall appoint their secretaries and pages
  1 10 to serve for the session, and the Chief Clerk is hereby
  1 11 authorized to employ such additional clerical assistance as
  1 12 her duties may require.
