  1  1    Section 1.  ADDITIONAL CONNECTION.  Notwithstanding
  1  2 contrary provisions of chapter 8D, the Iowa telecommunications
  1  3 and technology commission shall provide for the construction
  1  4 of a connection to the network for the quad cities graduate
  1  5 center.  The center shall be responsible for the costs
  1  6 associated with the connection to the network.  
  1  7                           EXPLANATION
  1  8    This bill provides that the Iowa telecommunications and
  1  9 technology commission shall provide for the construction of a
  1 10 connection to the network for the quad cities graduate center.
  1 11 The graduate center is responsible for the costs of the
  1 12 connection.
