1 1 Section 1. Section 99F.7, Code 1997, is amended by adding
1 2 the following new subsection:
1 3 NEW SUBSECTION. 17. A licensee shall not allow the
1 4 operation of gambling games on an excursion gambling boat or
1 5 at a pari-mutuel racetrack enclosure between the hours of two
1 6 a.m. and six a.m. on weekdays and Saturdays and between the
1 7 hours of two a.m. and eight a.m. on Sundays.
1 8 EXPLANATION
1 9 This bill provides that licensees shall not allow the
1 10 operation of gambling games on an excursion gambling boat or
1 11 at a pari-mutuel racetrack enclosure between the hours of two
1 12 a.m. and six a.m. on weekdays and Saturdays and between the
1 13 hours of two a.m. and eight a.m. on Sundays. These are the
1 14 same hours for the sale of alcoholic beverages with
1 15 appropriate licenses. A violation is punishable by the
1 16 revocation of the gambling license.
