1 1 HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 10
1 2 By Vande Hoef
1 3 A House Concurrent Resolution relating to a
1 4 biennial memorial session.
1 5 WHEREAS, it has been the custom to hold a biennial
1 6 memorial session in recognition of the public service
1 7 of departed members of the General Assembly; and
1 8 WHEREAS, both Houses desire to participate in such
1 9 an observance; NOW THEREFORE,
1 10 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, THE
1 11 SENATE CONCURRING, that an evening session of the Seventy-
1 12 seventh General Assembly be held in the House of Representatives
1 13 Chamber Wednesday evening, April 2, 1997, at 7:00 p.m.
1 14 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a joint committee of
1 15 eight members be appointed, four from the Senate to be
1 16 appointed by the President of the Senate, and four from
1 17 the House to be appointed by the Speaker of the House,
1 18 to make suitable arrangements for a joint memorial session.
