  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-8935, to Senate File 547, as
  1  2 passed by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, line 15, by striking the word "Sec.
  1  4 ___." and inserting the following:  "Sec. 101."
  1  5    #2.  Page 1, by inserting after line 26 the
  1  6 following:
  1  7    "#   .  Page 14, by inserting after line 15 the
  1  8 following:
  1  9    "Sec. ___.  Sections 1 and 101 of this Act are
  1 10 effective for military service tax exemption claims
  1 11 filed or on file on or after January 1, 1999, for
  1 12 property taxes due and payable in the fiscal year
  1 13 beginning July 1, 2000.""
