1 8 the replacement of optical components of the network
1 9 which become unusable and which are necessary for the
1 10 continued operation and use of the network:

1 12 Notwithstanding section 8.33, moneys allocated to
1 13 the commission in this paragraph which remain
1 14 unobligated or unexpended at the close of the fiscal
1 15 year shall not revert to the general fund of the state
1 16 but shall remain available for the purpose designated
1 17 in this paragraph in the succeeding fiscal year."
