  1  1    Amend the Senate amendment, H-9118, to House File
  1  2 2498, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the House,
  1  3 as follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 29 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "#   .  Page 11, by inserting after line 19 the
  1  7 following:
  1  8    "Effective July 1, 1999, the state shall
  1  9 appropriate sufficient funds to reimburse local
  1 10 governments that conduct food establishment
  1 11 inspections under agreements with the department of
  1 12 inspections and appeals, the difference between the
  1 13 cost of performing the inspections and actual revenues
  1 14 generated by food establishment license fees.""
