  1  2 2498, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the House,
  1  3 as follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 1, by inserting after line 9 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "#   .  Page 6, line 2, by striking the figure
  1  7 "116.00" and inserting the following:  "118.00"."
  1  8    #2.  Page 1, line 12, by striking the figure
  1  9 "655,898" and inserting the following:  "835,898".
  1 10    #3.  Page 1, by striking lines 30 and 31 and
  1 11 inserting the following:
  1 12    "#   .  Page 13, by striking lines 2 through 6, and
  1 13 inserting the following:  "gambling game license
  1 14 holder.""
  1 15    #4.  Page 2, by inserting after line 30 the
  1 16 following:
  1 17    "The Iowa public employees' retirement system
  1 18 division shall advertise for bids for the proposed
  1 19 acquisition and remodeling of a headquarters building
  1 20 and related facilities and let the bid to the most
  1 21 cost-effective bidder submitting a sealed bid
  1 22 proposal."
  1 23    #5.  Page 4, by striking line 10 and inserting the
  1 24 following:
  1 25    "#   .  Page 23, line 21, by inserting after the
  1 26 word "officers" the following:  "who were not
  1 27 incumbents at the 1998 general election,".
  1 28    #   .  Page 23, by striking lines 23 through 27 and
  1 29 inserting the following:  "1998, and ending June 30,
  1 30 1999, the balances shall revert to the general fund of
  1 31 the state.""
