1 5 #2. Page 1, by striking line 21 and inserting the
1 6 following: "regarding the comprehensive management of
1 7 solid waste;".
1 8 #3. Page 2, by striking lines 6 through 9 and
1 9 inserting the following:
1 10 "The Governor, the director of the Department of
1 11 Economic Development, the director of the Department
1 12 of Natural Resources, the Association of Business and
1 13 Industry, the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation, the Iowa
1 14 Recycling Association, the Iowa Society of Solid Waste
1 15 Operations, the Iowa chapter of the National Solid
1 16 Waste Management Association, the Iowa State
1 17 Association of Counties, the Iowa League of Cities,
1 18 and the Iowa Waste Reduction Center are requested to
1 19 appoint one member each; and".
1 20 #4. Page 2, line 15, by striking the word
1 21 "regarding" and inserting the following: "addressing
1 22 strategic issues of environmental protection, economic
1 23 competitiveness, and program sustainability as they
1 24 relate to the comprehensive management of solid waste.
1 25 The special committee may consider".
