1 7 #3. Page 2, by striking lines 6 through 9 and
1 8 inserting the following:
1 9 "The Governor, the director of the Department of
1 10 Economic Development, the director of the Department
1 11 of Natural Resources, the Association of Business and
1 12 Industry, the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation, the Iowa
1 13 Recycling Association, the Iowa Society of Solid Waste
1 14 Operations, the Iowa chapter of the National Solid
1 15 Waste Management Association, the Iowa State
1 16 Association of Counties, the Iowa League of Cities,
1 17 and the Iowa Waste Reduction Center are requested to
1 18 appoint one member each; and".
1 19 #4. Page 2, line 15, by striking the word
1 20 "regarding" and inserting the following: "addressing
1 21 strategic issues of environmental protection, economic
1 22 competitiveness, and program sustainability as they
1 23 relate to the comprehensive management of solid waste.
1 24 The special committee may consider".
