1 1 Amend Senate Joint Resolution 2004, as passed by
1 2 the Senate, as follows:
1 3 #1. By striking page 1, line 6, through page 3,
1 4 line 13, and inserting the following:
1 5 "STATE GENERAL FUND RESERVES
1 6 STATE GENERAL FUND RESERVES. Section 1. The state
1 7 will maintain as part of the general fund reserve
1 8 accounts equal to at least ten percent of general fund
1 9 expenditures made in the fiscal year. The total
1 10 amount in the reserve accounts may be less than ten
1 11 percent in a fiscal year, if approved in a bill
1 12 receiving the affirmative votes of at least three-
1 13 fifths of the whole membership of each house of the
1 14 General Assembly."
1 15 #2. Title page, line 2, by striking the word
1 16 "limiting" and inserting the following:
1 17 "restricting".
