  1  1    Amend Senate Joint Resolution 2004, as passed by
  1  2 the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 3, by inserting after line 1 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "___.  The cost of providing a property tax credit
  1  6 which is enacted by the General Assembly shall be
  1  7 fully funded by the state.  If a state appropriation
  1  8 made to fund a credit which is enacted by the General
  1  9 Assembly is not sufficient to fully fund the credit,
  1 10 the political subdivision shall be required to extend
  1 11 to the taxpayer only that portion of the credit funded
  1 12 by the state appropriation."
  1 13    #2.  By renumbering and correcting internal
  1 14 references as necessary.
