  1  1    Amend Senate File 2410, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the Senate, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 43, by inserting after line 27 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "(3)  The department shall work with the Iowa state
  1  6 association of counties in reviewing the reimbursement
  1  7 methodology provided in this lettered paragraph to
  1  8 determine whether modifications in the methodology or
  1  9 implementation of an alternate methodology are
  1 10 appropriate.  The department shall report on the
  1 11 review in December 1998 to the persons required by
  1 12 this Act for submission of reports."
