1 1 Amend Senate Joint Resolution 2004, as passed by
1 2 the Senate, as follows:
1 3 #1. Page 3, line 17, by striking the word
1 4 "sections" and inserting the following: "section".
1 5 #2. By striking page 3, line 19 through page 4,
1 6 line 11 and inserting the following:
1 7 "TAX BILLS.
1 8 PASSAGE OF TAX BILLS. Section 1. All bills
1 9 containing provisions relating to taxation shall
1 10 require for passage two separate votes in each house
1 11 of the General Assembly, with no more than ten
1 12 legislative days intervening between the first and
1 13 second vote in each house. Such bills after having
1 14 passed the house of origin shall be voted on and
1 15 passed in the other house before being voted on again
1 16 in the house of origin and returned to the other
1 17 house."
1 18 #3. By renumbering as necessary.
