  1  1    Amend Senate File 187, as passed by the Senate, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 11 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec. ___.  Section 481C.1, Code Supplement 1997,
  1  6 is amended to read as follows:
  1  7    481C.1  WILD ANIMAL DEPREDATION UNIT.
  1  8    A wild animal depredation unit is established
  1  9 within the fish and wildlife division of the
  1 10 department of natural resources.  The unit shall be
  1 11 comprised of two four wild animal depredation
  1 12 biologists.  The biologists shall serve under the
  1 13 director of the department of natural resources."
