1 5 "g. Volunteerism Program
1 6 For the purposes of implementing and administering
1 7 a volunteerism program pursuant to this lettered
1 8 paragraph:
1 9 .................................................. $ 500,000
1 10 The department shall implement and administer a
1 11 one-year program on volunteerism beginning July 1,
1 12 1998. The department shall provide grants to counties
1 13 in order to provide assistance in implementing and
1 14 administering America's promise programs. All
1 15 counties in the state shall be eligible to participate
1 16 in the program. The department shall develop the
1 17 criteria for receiving grant moneys. The criteria
1 18 shall include, but not be limited to, need and the
1 19 impact of the program."
