  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-8616, to Senate File 2366,
  1  2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 22, by inserting after line 45 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "Sec. ___.  Section 295.2, subsection 1, paragraph
  1  7 c, Code Supplement 1997, is amended to read as
  1  8 follows:
  1  9    c.  There is appropriated from the general fund of
  1 10 the state to the department of education for each the
  1 11 fiscal year of the fiscal period beginning July 1,
  1 12 1997, and ending June 30, 2001 for each succeeding
  1 13 fiscal year, the sum of thirty million dollars for the
  1 14 school improvement technology program."
  1 15    #2.  Page 23, by inserting before line 1 the
  1 16 following:
  1 17    "Sec. ___.  Section 295.5, Code 1997, is repealed."
  1 18    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
