1 1 Amend the amendment, H-8542, to Senate File 2398,
1 2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
1 3 follows:
1 4 #1. Page 5, by striking lines 17 and 18, and
1 5 inserting the following: "by an individual who at
1 6 least meets the clinical standards for professional
1 7 competence adopted in the third international congress
1 8 on the treatment of sex offenders and is experienced
1 9 in working with the assessment of sex offenders."
1 10 #2. Page 6, line 37, by inserting after the word
1 11 "services." the following: "Facility staff
1 12 responsible for providing treatment services to
1 13 persons determined to be sexually violent predators
1 14 shall include one or more individuals who at least
1 15 meet the clinical standards for professional
1 16 competence adopted in the third international congress
1 17 on the treatment of sex offenders and are experienced
1 18 in treating sex offenders."
1 19 #3. Page 8, line 9, by inserting after the word
1 20 "person." the following: "A person conducting an
1 21 annual examination shall at least meet the clinical
1 22 standards for professional competence adopted in the
1 23 third international congress on the treatment of sex
1 24 offenders and be experienced in working with the
1 25 examination and treatment of sex offenders."
