  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-8400, to House File 2496 as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 1, line 8, by after the word "benefits."
  1  4 the following:  "For purposes of this paragraph,
  1  5 "substitute teacher" means a teacher who holds a
  1  6 license as a substitute teacher and who is employed
  1  7 and paid as a substitute teacher."
