  1  1    Amend House file 2498 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 6, by inserting after line 2 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Notwithstanding the provisions of section 8.57,
  1  5 subsection 5, the department shall allocate the salary
  1  6 and support costs from fiscal year 1998-1999 rebuild
  1  7 Iowa infrastructure fund appropriations for facilities
  1  8 engineering services rendered.  The total amount of
  1  9 the allocation shall not exceed $125,000 for the
  1 10 salaries and support for 2.00 FTEs."
